April Wrap Up

So I only read 12 books this month! The weather finally got warm in Michigan, which also is the time when I am busiest with work and since I am self employed, I tend to get less reading done. The books at the top are from my own TBR and are books I either own or borrowed from the library using their e-lending program. The books at the bottom are advanced reading copies or review copies that came from publishers.

I really am loving the Throne of Glass series and Heir of Fire was by far my favorite book in the series so far. I am about 100 pages into Queen of Shadows, but paused it while I re-read A Court of Mist and Fury.  ACOMAF was even better when re-reading it and I forgot how much I not only love Feyre and Rhysand, but all the other amazing characters. I only started reading books by Maas last year but she is by far one of my all time favorite authors. I adore her characters and the worlds she creates. A Court of Wings and Ruin might possibly be my most anticipated book ever. Until of course I finish reading it and have to wait another year for the next book. I also really loved Death & Night, which I received both as an ARC and as a bonus e-book when I pre-ordered A Crown of Wishes, which I still have no read. But Roshani Chokshi has such beautiful, poetic writing; if you have not read The Star Touched Queen, I highly recommend it. Sarah J. Maas and her amazing books and series took over my TBR for the month. I also was/am involved in many blog tours this month and in May working with Litfuse and are mostly Christian books. And I one again have a huge amount of ARCs that I need to read, both physical copies and e-books. But, like I said, Maas’s books took over my TBR this month.
