August Wrap Up

I read a total of 13 books this month and all but 2 were ARCs and review copies, which means that I am finally fairly caught up. So as usual, the books at the top are from my personal TBR, that I either own or borrowed through my library’s e-lending program and the bottom are ARCs and review copies from publishers!

Tarnished Crown (The Royals #3.5) by Erin Watt  4/5 stars

The Surrendered by Case Maynard  3/5 stars

Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker  4/5 stars

Fallen Heir (The Royals #4) by Erin Watt  4/5 stars

The Lives of Desperate Girls by MacKenzie Common  3/5 stars

Girls Made of Glass and Snow by Melissa Bashardoust  4/5 stars

The Trick by Emanuel Bergmann  4/5 stars

The Apprentice Witch by James Nicol  3/5 stars

Ink and Bone(The Great Library #1) by Rachel Caine

Law and Vengeance by Mike Papantonio  3/5 stars

Green Mama: Giving Your Child A Healthy Start and a Greener Future by Manda Aufochs Gillespie

Pierced & Embraced: 7 Life-Changing Encounters with the Love of Christ by Kelli Worrall  3/5 stars

First, thank you to all the great publishers who sent me ARCs and review copies, I am always grateful for the opportunity to read and review books. Emma in the Night by Wendy Walker was one of my favorites this month. It was actually on my Kindle for several months before I read it and I wish I had read it sooner because I absolutely loved it, highly recommend. My other favorites this one were Tarnished Crown (The Royals #3.5) and Fallen Heir (The Royals #4) by Erin Watt. Tarnished Crown can be read on the author’s Watt Pad for free! I loved Fallen Heir because Easton is one of my favorite characters from the series and I was happy to read a book that was not only focused on him, but was also told from his perspective. What was your favorite book you read this month?

I really liked Trust by Kylie Scott, I read that in July. First book I have read by the author and really liked it! Awe that’s too bad, but everyone has different opinions. There are plenty of books I’ve read that I didn’t like, that everyone else loves!
