February Wrap Up

I read a total of 9 books this month and I finally got caught up on some of my ARCs that I have been meaning to read for a quite a while! The books at the top are books that are from my personal TBR and I either own or borrowed from my library’s e-lending program. The books at the bottom are ARCs or review copies from publishers.

Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas  5/5 stars

Not That I Could Tell by Jessica Strawswer  4/5 stars

Making the Monster: The Science Behind Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein by Kathryn Harkup  4/5 stars

Map of Shadows by J.F. Penn  3/5 stars

Quietus by Vivian Schilling  3/5 stars

The 11th Hour by Kristine Scarrow  3/5 stars

The French Girl by Lexie Elliott 3/5 stars

Wildwood by Elinor Florence  4/5 stars

Best Day Ever by Kaira Rouda  4/5 stars

I onyl read one book from my personal TBR this month, Empire of Storms, which I had been kind of waiting to read closer to the release of the next book because I heard it ended on a major cliffhanger. Which it of course did, so now I’m eagerly awaiting the final book. I just started reading Tower of Dawn which I am really liking so far. I still haven’t read The Assassin’s Blade, but my advice would be to read that before Empire of Storms, as it references back to people from the past. The French Girl and Best Day Ever were my favorites out of the ARC’s I caught up on and I wish I had read Best Day Ever sooner (it released in September). So I think for this month my favorite books were Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas and Best Day Ever by Kaira Rouda.

I am still trying to finish reading all of the ARCs and review copies I have so that I can not only get back to my personal TBR, but also be able to read ARCs and reviews copies right when I get them. I have also not been requesting any from NetGalley because I just always get so backed up. I’ve only been requesting books that are really on the top of my TBR. I don’t really know what my TBR is for March. I plan on trying to read the rest of the ARCs that I have, as well as finishing Tower of Dawn. I think after that I will probably read some stand alone books from Book of the Month that I’ve  been wanting to get to before starting on one of the many unread series I own. What was your favorite book you read this month?
