July Wrap Up

So I read a total of 9 books this month. The books at the top are from my personal TBR and I either own or I borrowed from the library. The books at the bottom are all ARCs or review copies sent to me from publishers.

Disgrace by Brittainy C. Cherry  5/5 stars
All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover  5/5 stars
A Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard  4/5 stars
Shadow and Bone (Grisha Verse, #1) by Leigh Bardugo  5/5 stars

Our House by Louise Candish  4/5 stars
Breasts: The Owner’s Manual by Kristi Funk  4/5 stars
Generous Love by Becky Kopitzke  3/5 stars
The Boy At The Door by Alex Dahl  4/5 stars
The Last Thing I Told You by Emily Arsenault 3/5 stars

So my favorite books this month by far were Disgrace by Brittainy C. Cherry, All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover and Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. I have previously only read one other book by Brittainy C. Cherry, which I loved and I was so impressed with Disgrace. I am fairly particular when it comes to New Adult authors and books, but just trust me and read this one. Colleen Hoover is just such an incredible author; every story she writes, I think, “Okay, her next book can’t possibly be any better.” And then she writes her next book and it is always amazing. All Your Perfects was incredible, I was seriously overwhelmed by these characters and their stories. It also hit close to home with some of the topics involved. If you haven’t read anything by Colleen Hoover, you need to stop reading this blog post and go buy all of her books. Shadow and Bone was also wonderful and I wish I had started this series sooner. There are just so many books to read I am just way behind on a lot of YA fantasy series. Bardugo is  great author and just like the Six of Crows books, I love the characters in this book. I just started the second book, Siege and Storm and am excited to see where the story goes from here. What were your favorite books you read this month?
