This devotional invites you into the Psalms, a place of praise and reflection. Realign your heart with God’s as you read through the Scripture and spend just a few minutes with Him. Whether you’re on a quick lunch break, between classes, or relishing some peace and quiet during nap time, 10 Minutes in the Word: Psalms gives you what you need to keep going. Just 10 minutes a day will guide you into Psalms, helping you feel closer to God and His Word.

I previously read 10 Minutes in the Word: Proverbs and really enjoyed it. 10 Minutes in the Word: Psalms is also really great. The setup of both of these devotionals is great. There is a topic for each chapter, a listing for the Biblical Scripture to read, a devotional, a prayers and then some additional questions to ask yourself about what you just read. I am fairly picky about devotionals and I really loved this this one. I also really like the prayer and additional questions at the end of each devotional. They were helpful in going further into what you have just read. I actually got on Amazon hoping to order more from the 10 Minutes in the Word series, but the next devotional on the book on John isn’t being released until the Spring of 2019. If you are looking for a great devotional focusing on prayers, poems and songs in the book of Psalms, I highly recommend checking this one out.

Thank you to the publisher, Zondervan, for sending me a review copy of this book.
