December TBR

I am trying to follow an actual TBR now that I finally got a beautiful book cart! It actually makes it a bit easier because all of soon-to-be-read books are all in one place. Sometimes I will just stare at the bookcases when I am trying to decide what to read next, so I am hoping this will help. I just started The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski, so I plan on also reading The Winner’s Kiss this month. After that, here is my tentative December reading plan!

Bird Box by Josh Malerman – This one has been on my TBR for so long and I just haven’t gotten to it. But I just saw that Netflix made it into a movie that comes out in December, so I definitely want to read it before that.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern – This is another book that has been on my TBR for quite a while. I saw that @readingbetweenthe_wines over on Instagram posted that @myreadingchronicles was doing a buddy read and end of the month discussion for this one so I decided to join in.

The Wife by Alafair Burke – This is the book that @criminallygoodbookclub over on Instagram chose for their monthly read and I decided to join in on this one as well.

A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness – I have had this series for a while but never really heard much about it. My favorite actress and blogger, Teresa Palmer, stared in the tv adoptation of this series and the first season is finally being released in the US in January. So I decided I wanted to read this one before watching the show.

So these are the 4 I am planning on reading this month, after finishing The Winner’s Crime and The Winner’s Kiss. After that, I many continue on through the TBR stack on my book cart or I may read a few ARCs, depends on what I am in the mood to read.

What’s on everyone’s TBR for December?
