Everyone wants to love and be loved, but we lack the time and the intentionality to forge lasting relationships. We go about our days feeling battered and broken, lonely and solitary, despite the fact that we’ve been relentlessly adored by our Creator. This devotional gently shares with us that God already calls us beloved, and He desires that we love others just as He loves us. 365 Devotions to Love God and Love Others Well reminds you daily that in God’s eyes you’re priceless beyond measure, and your intrinsic value doesn’t change one bit regardless of what kind of day, week, or even year you’re having. God has called you irreplaceable. This is the love He has for you and the love He has called you to extend to those around you. Savor this yearlong journey into God’s limitless and far-reaching love.

Earlier this year I read a similar devotional from Zondervan about being thankful, so when I saw this one about love, I knew I had to read it. Obviously I have not read the entire thing, but plan to throughout the new year. Love is a topic that I believe everyone can benefit from focusing on and could really make this world a better place. This devotional starts in January and provides a daily devotional focused on love throughout the entire year. Each daily devotion includes Scripture, a short message on how the topic and verse impacts our daily life and a short prayer. I use longer devotionals for more in depth study but I really like the format of this devotional and like reading it with my morning tea. If you are looking for a short and to the point devotional that you can easily relate to your day to day life, definitely give this one a try!

Thank you to the publisher, Zondervan, for sending me a review copy of this book.
