I have read several children’s Bible story books recently and I really enjoyed this one. The book includes 30 Bible stories; 15 from the Old Testament and 15 from the New Testament. Each story lasts about 3-5 pages and includes beautiful illustrations. Each story includes a reference to the original scripture, along with a a simplified story that will be easy for children to understand. At the end of each story, there is a simple one lesson for children to remember from that particular story, along with a short prayer.

I liked the length of each story and it provides a great message before winding down before bed. The stories are the perfect length to keep children engaged and the illustrations are colorful and fun. The illustrations for the story of Noah were my favorite!

Thank you to the publisher, Thomas Nelson, for sending me a review copy of this book.
