My pregnant brain can’t seem to focus very well on non-fiction lately, but I have managed to finish a few that were on my NetGalley TBR. And as I’ve said in previous posts, I have been reading and reviewing quite a few more children’s books lately.

I did a re-read of Pet Semetary by Stephen King, as I think I originally read it like 15 years ago. And I loved just as much as I did the first time. Although I was not super pleased when I saw the trailer for the remake of the film and saw that they changed some of the main plot points! First They Killed My Father by  Loung Ung was a very interesting, but hard read and I learned a lot about Cambodia and that time period while reading it. I saw somewhere that they turned it into a film, so I will have to see if I can track that down. None of my NetGalley reads really grabbed my attention, however I do have thew newest books from Riley Sager, Megan Miranda and several other great authors to read this month! I also just started Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and I am loving it so far! What was your favorite book you read during the month of April?
